On the first and third Sunday of October and November, Math for Love and WXML present the Seattle Math Club–we’re inviting you and yours to share a joyous experience of mathematics and problem solving.

This club is for everyone. Regardless of your age, grade level, and emotional response to math, this is a shame-free, cooperative environment focused on facilitating positive experiences with mathematics.

We believe that success in math follows naturally from a passion for mathematics, and thus, our immediate aim is to create a community of people who are proud to say that they love math.

Is this really free?!
As free as you want it to be, and we’re hoping to keep it that way! When you sign up, you’re welcome to donate as much or as little as you’d like. We’re hopeful that we’ll receive enough community support in order to continue offering free programming next year.

What should I expect?
You’ll find games and puzzles that are designed to be accessible, engaging, and challenging to an extremely diverse audience. Expect to have some fun and meet some like-minded folks. Check out the Seattle Math Club facebook page for more info, and check out the Math for Love website for more about our pedagogy and approach.
